As global water scarcity is pervasive worldwide, it is also the main challenge for continued human development and achieving Sustainable Development Goals. Water scarcity shakes the entire social fabric of communities – as it leads to food, health, and economic crises. Although almost all countries around the globe face water shortages, water scarcity is more prevalent in developing countries. 80% of the illnesses in developing countries result from water scarcity. One of these developing countries is Pakistan, the home of Aabshar. 

Having faced and seen these problems unfold so closely, it became vital for our core team at Aabshar to set themselves on a mission to save water. Our goal is to not only assist Pakistan in resolving its water issue, but also to combat the problem in other water-scarce places throughout the world.
